Australia is again courting and seeks UK Migrants. I am now a Registered Migration Agent and am back in the UK.

Boy what's happened to my old country!

I'm here, on this site to offer a bit of advice here & there and answer any question you may have about life downunder. Mainly because it is so topical at the moment.

The biggest obstacle to all 'Tradies' is obtaining a 'Positive skills Assessment' for without that you cannot make an application for Migration.

Answering your questions helps to keep me sharp and you just may chuck one at me that's gonna need the books out!

Hope this posting will generate some discussion and debate about life in the New World.

im seriously considering it, my wifes uncle came over last year<he emigrated 30 yrs ago>and was shocked.....and thats before things started going ---- here....or more ----.... anyhow hes a manager of electrical wholesaler and within 5 minuits of meeting him offered me work! they put us up/arrange somwhere to stay,this an advantage on "signing up " with one of those agency type settups? oh and the regs we work to over here are adopted in oz.......now if that aint a reason to go! ive had a gutsful here.
