How do i calculate the load demand to supply cables for the following situation:-
A 3 phase load of 20kW SUPPLIED AT 400V with a power factor of 0.6
 
Kw/400*Sqrt3*0.6

should work out as approx 48amps.

However there are further factors to consider before sizing your cable....cable length, installation method , temperature e.t.c. e.t.c.
