I had my 4kw solar PV system installed in July 2011, I am aware of the FIT Generation Tariff rates but there isn't anywhere clearly showing what the Export rate is, I thought it started at 3.1p does anyone know what it should be now for my system and will it increase to 4.5p in August or is that just for new systems installed than?

the new rate only applies for new customers after 1st August. Export should be 3.2p for everyone before that, as it went up with inflation in April 2012.

The change to the export tariff rate only applies to systems comissioned from today onwards.
FiT being 16.8p (instead of 21.0p)
Export tariff 4.5p (instead of 3.2p)
Term: 20 years (instead of 25 years)

Total difference with FiT and export tariff makes it effectively 19.05p per kWh for 20yrs instead of 22.6p per kWh for 25yrs.

So a 15.7% drop in annual payments and a 20% drop in the timespan that those payments will be made.

Okay, thanks guys, think I have got it, was 3.1p went up to 3.2p in April but no more increases now until perhaps next April with inflation..

Its actually 16p/kWh
