Sorry mA, pig ---- for fingers

in that case it'd poor practice to fit a sub main in the garage. you're stuck with what you have.

In that case I was going to give it its own 20a mcb in the DB??

If it's currently fed off a ring through an FCU whats the issue? If you are only running a 2.5mm SWA then there cant be a lot of load??

No but wanted to increase to 3 double sockets on radial and a addition lamp

Nothing to stop you adding as many sockets as you want, maximum load will be 13a but generally that's ample capacity for a garage, unless you have a couple of freezers and a tumble dryer for example

Ok cool no only one little chest freezer! Think I need to sort this first

Yes, unlikely any RCD protection to existing sockets/circuits!
