Has anyone ever moved their business?

May be soon moving to the Midlands with the miss's. Just wondering has anyone who has been self employed moved quite some distance... if so, what have you done about work?


Went on the books with a local firm, struggled for work but advertised like crazy with your own business trying to pick up work, or turned to the agencies?

Depends how far your moving, can you still retain your existing client base?

I would have thought you'd have to start from scratch (on the cards or agency while you build up a new client base), unless you fancy commuting from the Midlands to Devon every day.
Which part of the Midlands are you moving to?

Tamworth area, does anyone know what the current amount of work's like around that area? I know it's pretty rubbish all over but I'm coping ok down here at the moment.

Ha, dont really want to commute 6 hours a day

Ive just recently moved from west midlands to surrey and business hasnt been affected at all.
