My sister in law has a Zanussi intelli set fridge freezer... I can’t see the model number. No sticker inside, and I’m not moving it to look behind.
She changed the lamps herself, but the lights still don’t come on when the door is opened.
I’ve had a quick look, but I don’t see a switch around the door?
What can turn the light on and off without a switch?

Tried google, but I can’t download a user manual without the model number

Any ideas folks?

It might be a magnetic switch.
Do you have any test gear?
Ideally a volt meter to find if you have power to the light fitting when you open the door

I didn’t have my tools with me. Was just on a family visit.
I took the new lamps out to check they were ok, and the filament looked complete on both.

A magnetic switch sounds feasible.
I thought some form of lux level sensor, bringing the lamps on when the door was open... but then realised it would never turn off. Stupid
