Hi,

i have just applied to the niceic to become an approved contractor as part of their scheme. i was told there would need to be 5 examples of work of varying types coveriang all areas of work that i will need to show, this is no problem as i have more than 5 to pick from. i was wandering what kind of things they are looking for? any major do's and dont's, weather anyone here had had the site inspections for this scheme before and can let me know what it is like?

cheers,

Jess

Hia mate I had mine three weeks ago and I showed him a rewire on a garage and two mains boards and two minor jobs one an outside light and the other sone kitchen lights. It's really easy mate I didn't have to lock off or put signs up just prove dead and crack on! Just keep him brewed up and get him a nice dinner! Mine was done for 2pm the minors I just showed him as he was really happy with my standards and testing on first three.
