Hi all, I am currently redoing my kitchen, one of the walls with several 1.5s for the lights was meant to be dot and dabbed. I have capped up straight from the switch and then clipped direct tight around the rsj that is directly above it. On coming home I've found that the builder today has concrete rendered the lot! I've heard about lime chewing through cables but not sure how true this is, do I need to worry?

Capped up as far as rsj then clipped direct to wall to get around it and up into ceiling leaving a foot of cables uncapped under the render

What about chasing under and around the rsj, it's still within the safe zone without disrupting the base for the rsj and cap it or oval conduit.
