Hi, I currently have a Megger 1730 v1 which is fine for all functions except the 2 wire (L-E) no trip loop test, (no 3 wire loop test on my 1730). It is absolutely useless as the site where I work has a noisy electrical supply (probably due to harmonic distortion, numerous large inverter drives). I can't really afford a 1741 which are suppose to be good, and would buy be willing to buy a separate loop test instrument or a less expensive MFT that would do the job. If anyone has any recommendation given the environment of use I should be grateful for advice.
My 1730 has recently been calibrated and works fine on domestic supplies!

Thank you Griffey.

Hi, did you decide to upgrade your test meter? If so, how are you finding it?
