In what way can't it be right Mate

Taking the single cores through separate holes like that is a big no, no.
assuming of course that the base of the enclosure is steel and that no other provisions have been made to prevent eddy currents.

Agree with you ,but we have no other information, just a picture of an isolator with singles entering at the bottom.
Is the base plate ferrous? if so has it been slotted in line with best practice? for all we know the cable eateries may have been made in an insulating material, no info on that from the poster

No one commented on it …to me it don’t look right…obviously the entries into the isolator..definitely metal enclosure.

Would be interesting to see what the removable bottom entry plate looks like:

No problem if it's a metal enclosure, it's the entry plate that causes problems with eddy currents

Well I can't see where the metal enclosure is earthed??

But without a picture of the entry plate it is hard to tell whether the tails have been correctly installed to prevent eddy currents

Copper sheath of the MICC????

Agree that it's impossible to tell whether it's OK or not. If there is a slot between the holes or the plate is non-ferrous, it's fine. If not, it's not, although currents of this order (63A) through unconnected holes in a mild steel gland plate do not usually cause any significant issues in practice.

Where is the MICC you speak of!!!
The 4 cables entering the all metal enclosure! at the lower elevation.

Edit my last after a better look the cables are tails PVC/PVC Singles, sorry for confusion

How long is a bit of string mate, your guess is as good as mine, but vwe aint talking earthing it's eddy currents we are yapin about

I found this video re domestic sized installations quite informative:

Hello to all,

Rather than start another eddy current thread, thought I'd just tag onto this one.

Cables contained in metal trunking which is bushed to the side of a 12TP dis board. Lives and neutrals go through one 50mm brass Bush into RCBOs. The earths go through another 50mm hole which is in line with the earth bar.

Will the brass bushes prevent eddy currents as the brass isn't magnetic?
