Is it possible for someone to explain to me in lay-mans terms exactly what I need to do to get a JIB card???

I have NVQ3, AM2, 2330, 17th,, 2391, Pat and have done 4 year apprenticeship.

Until now I have assumed that I would just apply and get one, but now I read about ECS?

Does this apply to me, and what is the process of getting it?

Thank you kindly

go on the website ecs and then click on jib cards then you fill out a form with your address details then they will send you out a pack which you fill out detailing all your quals like when you apply for a passport etc.

or ring up 020 8302 0031 and request over the phone

Ahh just seen their list of exepmtions:

Certificates obtained during a five-year period prior to the required date of assessment:

  • NVQ Level 3 (Installing and Commissioning Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment)*

Thank god for that!!

Thanks for your help.
