Does anyone know where I can get a lid for a legrand CM8 metal clad consumer unit? The manufacturer ceased production in 2003 and has no spares.

Best bet is Ebay. if none on there then you will have to replace the complete CU. Had a similar problem recently on a Merlin Gerin 3 phase board, one of the phases went open circuit, i only wanted the pan assembly and the job would have been about 10 hours quicker and a damn sight cheaper, alas it was also obsolete so a new 3 phase board went in.........what a nightmare.......

Thanks Sirkit, have had no luck with ebay so replacement seems the only option! Only bit of good news for the client is the mcb's will fit the later legrand boards.
