It’s all a money-making schemes - get rich quick merchants and you’ll bet that they don’t give a monkeys about the client as long as the money comes in.
Got the same with online Doctor/GP types now. No waiting list because it’ll cost you £30+ to talk to someone who is already in the GP office at the local surgery doing a ’hobble’, ‘cobble’ or ‘foreigner’ whilst they are supposed to be helping the general public in their waiting room!
It makes me Seethe! (Remember Mr Angry on Steve Wright radio?)
 
Looked at "House rewire" information from 2009 and earlier. Saying you need to conform to regs and have equipment to test. Not much use never be able to rewire my house now.
 
I generally find people who DIY generally create work for the pro's. When I was working in computers in the mid 2000s I thought the onset of Computer magazines would be the death of our industry. I bought a new van in 6 months thanks to people f**king things up.

Do you think the diy doctor will allow me to advertise at the bottom of the how to guides saying when you have followed the above and its not working give me a call!
I get quite a few jobs from women when the husband has tried but failed to do a job properly,
