Guys got a call this morning customer changed the lamp in the bathroom from a standard incandescent to a energy saving lamp and when he switched the light off the fan kept running so I asked him to check it with the lamp removed and the fan went off after 5 minute as it should.

So I have never seen this before anybody else had this.?

Could he have somehow wired messed up the wiring so that he somehow wired the S/L in series with the lamp but made the S/L the permanent feed????

Reall is a case of going and seeing what they have done

Maybe a higher-rated energy saver would solve it. May be certain fans which are affected. Never had an issue with xpelair.

Yep I have advised that use a different make to see if this solves the problem but yes this is one for the memory banks and for future reference
