Discuss Chargemaster Installer in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I may be wrong but dont think chargemaster have any sort of formal approval scheme, they were for a long time using only there own electricians for the installs, they may sub contract some of it out.
I am approved with a few companies and there are far better charger on the market than chargemaster, covering all ends of the price range and quality from Rolec, Podpoint through to EVbox and Andersen. never had a query for a Chargemaster one though.
They are advertising for an installer on there website £30k per year fitting chargers aint too bad.

Are "Home charge" in any guise related to Home serve??

No but chargemaster have been known to have similar dubious business practices! chargemaster is I believe know part of the BP group of companies.
The homecharge bit is a term to link it with the governments homecharge subsidy scheme where you get £500 towards the install if you have an electric vehicle.

You're correct Gavin, BP Chargemaster EV charging points are installed by their own installers. I've never had enquiries for BP Chargemaster products either.
