Can u run a 6 mm cable for hob 32 amps and 2.5 cable 16 amps off same cooker switch , 45 amp cooker switch wired on own circuit back to cu on 32 amp breaker.

In some circumstances you could, but there are nearly always better solutions.

As Westward says, can you give a bit more info?

Can you elaborate a bit more.
Got a new electric cooker and separate induction hob , just need advice regarding installing them , had an electrician in to have a look.

On this occasion, 32A + 16A =48A
The other options are probably not available.
What did the electrician that came out say?

After all they have the best information and knowledge of the installation.

He said he would connect the hob and cooker to the same cooker switch, looks like the hob and cooker might have to gone on there own circuits.

Hi L1Jay1. As a trainee I guess you will have access to the onsite guide. Have a read through appendix A and appendix H. Then come back and tell us what you think, and we'll discuss more :)
I’ve read that, it says that you can have two cooking appliances on the same supply , and on the same switch, I was just wondering whether both appliances would be ran to the cooker switch and terminated there, or should they each terminate at there own individual cooker connection units . It says in the book page 190 one switch maybe used to control both appliances, it doesn’t say whether both can be terminated there .

solution is to feed from 45A cooker isolatir to a dual outlet..hob one side, oven the other. . the oven is a fixed load and so does not require overload protection.
