Hi, I know it's best practice to run an immersion on a dedicated circuit but am I OK with the following
A new heat pump is being fitted and it has a wiring centre in the airing cupboard next to the cylinder, the wiring centre requires a 3A switched spur to power the circuit board a diverter valve and a small contactor for the immersion heater, there is a comms cable from the outside heat pump that tells the wiring centre to control the diverter valve (heating or hot water)and once a week turns on the immersion heater contactor to disinfect the cylinder "legionella cycle"
My question is can I use the immersion heater supply cable to power both with a 20A DP switch for the immersion and 13A switched spur (3A fuse fitted) for the wiring centre or do I need to run a new supply or spur of a local ring for the switched spur
