Can someone please recommend a decent brand of dry-lining box...

I don't use them often, but when I do (like on my current job) I'm always really frustrated by now untidy they look. The installed switch or socket never seems to go back flush to the wall so I end up caulking it in to make it look reasonable...

If you want it to be flush you new to install a noggin and fit a metal ko box, the lip on dry lining Is what stops it pulling out if the wall, failing that fit sockets that have a small lip so that it will go over the edge of the box

Pick a forum then at the top left it should say "start new thread"

Another thumbs up for Appleby from me. The Click ones are good too, especiakky due to the joiner piece to allow different variations of dual boxes

You can but some dry lining boxes off tlc direct that are made for flat plate accessories. You then see no lip around the edge. Or you can but some clips that convert ko boxes for use in cavity walls
