Hi chaps,

Looking to purchase the above and wondered what your thoughts were on the Di-logs or Kew techs?

I dont really want to spend a fortune, so a couple of hundred quid is about max.

Cheers.

Is it just for domestic/small commercial ?, and what max current range?

I think the DiLog is a similar if not better spec & a LOT cheaper & IIRC DiLog is part of Fluke?
ISO-TECH is RS badge engineered own brand.
No criticisms anywhere, just make up your own minds.
I can find out if you want who is the "parent" co of DiLog..

Hi MarkieSparkie

Also thinking about getting one myself, could you please explain how you use it to diagnose power problems, sorry if this is a silly question.

Many Thanks
T&E

I have one too, it's the dog's nuts. I tried just about everything on the market before falling in love with this little beauty. I'm constantly amazed at the diagnostic properties of this meter, where previously I would need to haul out the Fluke power analyser.

I'm sure this subject has been discussed before and quite recently too.

For a budget leakage clamp meter you cannot better the Di-log DL6507!! It has a resolution equal to or better than much higher priced units, along with the functions a general journeyman electrician likes to see on an amp clamp meter. It's probably not going to ultimately satisfy those working in specialist fields, but even there will cover the majority of there needs. First Class budget test kit, and i would recommend it, even over the acclaimed TEC 633....
