Just been asked to quote on an EICR for a large B&B.

22 Rooms - 8 DBs and 100 circuits in total. Not been there to look but would like to give a estimate and then (if acceptable) have an on-site meeting to set out limitations etc. What sort of price/circuit would you quote for starters?

Just had a look at the web site of the B&B and the rooms don't look extra ordinary in terms of electrically, I'm guessing the large number of circuits is because each room has their own lighting/sockets/heater circuits.

Do you know if the customer has the previous reports? 1/2-40mins a circuit.

£1000 + 1 weeks free B&B.

Don't forget to include time for identifying circuits that may be wrongly assigned or unidentified. Find out what limitations you will have in terms of isolating power, I could imagine in a place like that it could be a right morris dance of frustration when rooms are occupied.
All the prescribed and agreed scope and limitations, including access and isolation will have a bearing on your final per circuit price.

Go there and look at it before giving any sort of price

Bit of a trek to have a look and possibily not get the job.

Don't intent of giving a fixed price quote, just an estimate at first and if its in their ballpark then will have a visit and go over any limitations they have and look at what papework they have! Then update the estimate to a fixed price.
