hello guys

#2 Fire alarm - install in common parts, grade A category, LD2 coverage, conforming to BS 5839

A grade A fire alarm to me normally means a centrally wired system with contralised controls, so I would not get away with a wireless system with a wireless control module all mains wired?

You can install a wireless Grade A, LD2 system. Might be an idea to speak to a supplier who would design and specify a system for you.

A Grade A system is defined as a mains supplied central control unit c/w battery backup for min 48 hours (norm 72 hours), monitoring all detection and devices for fire and fault conditions. The control unit must be able to display zone area of activation and provide evacuation, silence and reset functions. All panels must meet EN54 parts 2 &4
