Hi,
just a quick one please. I'm doing a CU change over domestic, all initial tests are fine with final circuits etc. Just one thing concerned about. the main earthing conductor is a galvanised band type welded onto the incoming sheath (TN-S), screwed to the metal cut-out main fuse housing (1361 Type2), then onto the MET.?
I haven't seen this before so was just wondering if that is acceptable amongst you more experienced electricians? The Ze is all fine and well within limits (0.26)... I dont want to cut off the existing connection to the incoming as this seems well connected and I don't want to compromise.??
Thanks.
