Hello, obviously a new member here.

Been lurking, learning and bit of head scratching.

I must say there certainly is a wealth of knowledge and experience on this here forum to be had.

Just a matter of filtering, which does take time but it does pay off, I've learnt a thing or two.

So i guess I should get to the point, my back round and the the help I'm looking for to get a bit further

In this roller coaster trade of ours.

I'm male,34 years of age, currently living in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.

Started out as a mate around 12 years ago, started out with intentions of getting every qualification

going. Reality kicked in,and as I was self funded, money ran out. I've mostly been working for companies

or agencies in the commercial and domestic areas.

I've worked with some bloody good sparks that taught me what I know and a good, clean and tidy work

ethic with an almost OCD approach to my work.

So anyway,so far I've achieved 2360 part 1, 2382, 2392, oh and not forgetting the mighty 2393.

So my questions are, what now and where? 2330, 2357,2391?

I feel I've really let myself down by not finishing and following up my qualifications, and as the 2360 is

now obsolete I'm wondering what can do to complete it somehow , I don't feel a

complete electrician until i've attained the latest relevant quals.

I respect my trade and those that attained what I have yet to, now's the time for me to prove it and do

the same.

Many thanks in advance for help, advice and pointers.

Buzz.

Hi, I am also a new member, I have had a lot of experience with electrical education.

my advice would be to attain the 2330 level 3 technical certificate, if you can find anyone in Cambs who can offer this fine, if not, then sooner or later you will have to take the 2357 tech cert including the unit on sustainable energy supplies

The NVQ and AM2 will be part of the full qualification.

If you wanted to you have unitl the 31/7/12 to register on the 2356 NVQ and have 3 years to 31/7/12 to finish it. There are various paths along this route.

please reply if you have any questions, Phil...

Another one from the strange place called St Neots, welcome mate.

If you have a JIB card I know of some work going at RAF Wyton.
