Still at work as I'm doing this post come across a 80amp kmf 16 mm mains t&e
on a 4 bed hse 15mtrs long clipped direct no insulation round it to db.
Anyone want to work it out?

85A I think
2.8mv/A/m voltage Drop

Is it above plasterboard or clip direct to plasterboard?

at 85A, that 16mm will get barely warm. have to pull around 120A to get it close to 70deg. i know, been there.

Think its still 85A

I take its still clip direct - cant see anything stating in a wall (in OSG)

16mm - 1 Cable - 2 Core - 85A
25mm - 1 Cable - 2 Core - 112A

Page 147 of OSG Ref Method C

thanks guys, it was one of my competitors using the 16mm twin i use 25mm tails. probably easier to use 16 mm t&e dont think the cost is much less
