16amp breaker in the consumer unit, 2.5mm cable.

nowt wrong with that as long as the JBox is either accessible or MF.

Yes it’s fine. The 2.5mm cable is protected by the 16A breaker. (Rcd protected?)

Yeh I thought so. Junction box is in an access cupboard. I saw a diagram online saying you can only spur off for one socket on a radial and i was questioning myself. Stupid google.

it's 1 socket spurred of a ring, unfused down, that you're thinking of. appx. 15 BBB.

Yes the ring main I know about that. But the radial I was sure it was ok to branch off wherever. Thanks
