Hi folks,

What options are available to me in terms of career development. I recently qualified as a JIB electrician but not sure I want to work on a building site long term. Just wondered what options are available in terms of moving into possibly IT or telecoms etc ?

Whilst you are employed, you can look into moving IT/Telecoms without the panic of being out of wofk.
Ask at you local wholesaler who works in that industry and perhaps ask if you could have a quick chat to them, with regards to moving into that area. People are often very good givingadvise and tips and you never know they may know of an opportunity locally.
