Solar Array confusion

Hi guys

I have connected 8 x 250 watt 35 v solar panels in series to connect to an enfinity 2kw inverter. The open voltage I get from the array at the dc isolator is 220vdc or so, but when testing at the dc inverter terminals I am only getting around 68vdc. I have had the inverter (enfinity) given to me and because of the under voltage it will not fire up.

Any Ideas?

Have you checked either side of the DC isolator?

Yes mate. I bypassed the isolator to confirm that wasn't the problem

Sounds like a faulty invertor,
Have you double checked all cables and connectors

Have you checked polarity at the inveter on the DC side to ensue it is correct?

Checked all connections and polarity on dc sidemail. Think it is a faulty inverter. Thanks for the help guys
