Hi,

I'm looking to get into the industry and become an electrician. I'm wondering whether I should get my domestic installer qualifications and then get a position as electrician mate/domestic electrician and study for 2365 level 3 in evenings and weekends.

My plan is:

C&G 2392
C&G 18th Edition
C&G 2391-52
C&G 2393
C&G 2377

And then get experience while studying 2365 level 3.

C&G

It could help you earn money while you learn. Or you could get work as a mate while you learn also.

How old are you BTW?

Check out what jobs/apprenticeships are available from TFL or LUL as being a signals engineer is much more rewarding than being a domestic electrician. If you want to earn whilst you learn check out companies like T A Ronan if they require mates/labourers.
