All I can say is DAMN ? Reminds me of a TV show (999 I think) where they had Thier stuntman drive a car in and through a 400kV station in touch with the conductors bit was protected by the rubber tires, it was only when they simulated a person stepping outside the car that the simulated person for fried.

Before that section they had a reconstruction of a farmer that got zapped when his tractor sprayer arms hit OHE lines, the farmer stepped out to see what he hit and got fried

Theory is theory, often going against common sense. Way to cool to see it in action. Makes me admire the code- at least the stuff in it thats legit.
 
He's a passionate guy but I find hard to follow sometimes.

In America the concrete etc surrounding the pool has a bonding grid ? what happens if the pool is surrounded by grass I.e mass of Earth/Ground?
unless you have a earthing Rod but if it was TN system with no Rod then you would get a shock?

Yes, there is grid or mesh.

If the pool has a conductive shell then you still need a grid. 680.26(B(1)(2)
