Hi Guys

I’m currently unemployed and looking for some voluntary work in the electrician field. I’ve passed my Part P qualification and I’m currently waiting to start the 17th Edition course.

I am willing to work for free a few days a week, as at the moment I’m just job searching and I would prefer to keep myself active. I know most electricians like to work solo but I’m willing to make the tea or even fetch lunch as long as I can learn.

I know most of the knowledge of wiring circuits and have a little experience but I’m really looking to gain some experience on the difficulties an electrician faces on a daily basis. Ive worked since i was 17 so im a good grafter and a good character too.

I live in Stourbridge/West Midlands so if anyone knows of any voluntary work going then id love to hear from you.

Regards

Andy

welcome to the asylum. most electricians will want help on the bigger jobs. it's no fun trying to pull cables in on yor own. good luck, mate.

sure you'll find someone needs a hand from time to time, but don't devalue yourself. if you can get work with an electrician, work a day or 2 and ask him to pay you what he thinks you are worth, for the work you have done. every man is worthy of his hire.
