well chaps got sucker punched into inviting a salesman into my home to waste "his" time not mine!

gave me the spiel of guaranteed work etc and the like!

basically a web design company now offering work via a Trade Site! said he was associated with top estate agents and companys..! i belived it all as he came to my house and showed me his face and his company portfolio!

any way quick chat with other half and decided to go for it

the costing! 1 Area = £800
2 area with 2 free Area = £1600 - 25% if you pay on the day in full...! + VAT!

sounded good especially the Rental / estate agent bit so signed away!

long story short! cold feet or reality hit me and i rang a few local companies who could not put together collectively 10 leads let alone 10 jobs!! and that estate agent work was never seen by any of them! Various Trades inc GAS!

quick time to bail out and well cheque stopped and sent them nice email saying "**** OFF" got letter today badly presented (actually most of there stationary was badly produced for a big firm) saying thank you for getting in touch and they have cancelled my contract!

nice to see big corporate advertising cons have morals!! lol...!

Nice to see they actually cancelled your contract without taking you to court for the full amount first!!!

yeah i know!! there terms and condition read like ---- any way! lol...! lesson in life! dont get greedy and let work come to you for free!! apart from my yell listings that work well!

nice bit of luck getting out of that your better always going with your gut especially with cold callers as they are usually sharks mate scam merchants selling the earth, saved in the nick of time

tell me about it! soon as he left i had itchy feet to run after him..! he signed up another spark in durham same week as well! the company cant even spell his TOWN correctly! lol....! might email him and ask him to keep me informed how work goes!

yes mate i would have rugby tackled him for the cheque back and I bet the other sparky doesnt get much work from it eh mate you would have to get a fare few jobs just to break even good move getting out of it, you look to me mate that you dont need help from cold caller salesmen and i thought you where already loaded lol leave some for poor little me lol

Steve,you are a sensible guy, whatever posessed you to get suckered up to that kind of offer,especially given the amount of warnings we get from one and other about these leeches in our midst

Get yourself a pen where the ink takes at least a week to emerge before you can sign your name to anything offering easy pickings,for a small outlay of course

i know i feel so daft actually telling you all about it but just shows if i can get smucked what about the chaps with no idea!....!!

i had one of them pens!! bought it from here but when it started working some **** nicked it!
