Hi all,

South African here, 10 year's experience in IBM RPG programming.
I stumbled upon this forum looking for answers, but because of the dedication I see from the members I'd rather study around here a bit before asking something, so I learn properly. Definitely happy to make a mistake and be corrected than just ask for answers due to laziness.

btw it’s Report Program Generator if anyone is interested. It’s a fairly unusual and difficult programming language with various flags in certain columns. An extra rogue space can stuff up everything.
Not touched it for 25 years I’m pleased to say.

Tim, awesome stuff.
I'm very pleased to let you know that RPG has evolved to fully free format code.
No more fixed format flags in certain columns.
Although it is probably a bit difficult still, I think you'll love to see what it has become.
