I've been looking at wall chasers, I really can't work out why they are so expensive. They seem to be a £70 angle grinder with a dust extraction shroud. Am I missing something?
How about this one? Don't know how long it would last but it's guaranteed.

Yep that is pretty simple but my point is a wall chaser is used to save time and one that cuts a 30mm wide chase will then have to be run up again to widen the chase so why not just use the 4 1/2" grinder. The only wall chasers to be considered are the ones that are capable of cutting a 40mm wide chase and are the more expensive versions and will save time.Just run another track beside it. Pretty simple really.
