I recently bought some of these innovative grommets and used one for the first time this week while doing a consumer unit changeover. I had no choice really as there just wasn't enough clearance space between the bottom of the new board and the top of the meter/service head to accomodate a tail entry kit. Needless to say, I won't be using horrible, cumbersome, ugly-looking tail kits ever again.

Thank you Wiska.

Are they a good price?

I prefer a decent metal compression gland with the suitable rubber hole for each tail.

What to stop them being pulled out?

I'd used one of their other grommets, with the whole lot inside plastic trunking. Was anticipating using these from now on, in similar situation.

Looks like a handy solution.

They are indeed Richard. Short of having the meter and service head relocated, there was no way I could have otherwise managed to fit an amendment 3 board and tail kit into the existing space. On this particular occasion, the grommet was an absolute life-saver!
