Hi, I have a Pyronix home alarm and hoping for some assistance please. Alarm randomly keeps going off about 4 times every house (even in the middle of the night).

Front Door tamper triggers therefore meaning there’s an issue with the door sensor. My Engineer is on holiday and isn’t picking the phone up.

Is there a way if I open the sensor, to manually bypass the wiring somehow so the alarm doesn’t keep on triggering. I’m essentially looking to disable the sensor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What's the model number.
Is the sensor a door contact or a Pir ? Wireless or hardwired ?

It probably can be programmed or linked out

Door contact could be a magnet switch mounted on the door frame which operates when the magnet on the door moves away (door open)

It may be that in the door closed state, the magnet is just too far away from the switch and is just momentarily breaking the contact.

Is there any adjustment can be made on the door hinges to move the magnet closer

That will only count when the alarm is active o/p said tamper.

O/P doesn't seem to be in any rush to give more info, so I doubt anyone else will be either.
