    Spur off a spur in the loft.

    I have recently moved into a new build which has a passive input ventilation unit in the loft. This is cabled to an unswitched fcu which is spurred off a single socket which is in turn spurred off the ring. Am I right in thinking that you shouldn't have a spur off a spur?

    Socket added in loft to lighting circuit - unearthed

    I recently had CCTV installed and the contractor installed a plug socket in my loft, spurred from the lighting circuit - which is unearthed.
