Amateur question, extractor fan replacement.

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering if any of you know the answer to this question. I have contacted the manufacturer, but due to Covid, they are taking ages to answer.

I have an old extractor fan in the toilet/bathroom that has stopped working and needs to be replaced, the specific model no longer appears to be in existence. What I need to know is which model to replace it with.

This is the old one (excuse the dust, it's really old).

Any ideas if this is the right model?

It looks like both models suggested are drop-in replacements, though they seem to have changed the position of the terminal block from your earlier model, so these notes are probably relevant: https://www.sparksdirect.co.uk/download/01-Addendum to Installation and Operating Guide.pdf

The installation and operating instructions and dimensions etc. are all out there to be had with a quick Google

but it does say "older" models, not ones that came over with Noah and ran on coal.

Why not just replace it with something else. Lots of extractor fans available these days. Just saying.

the bestest ones have both a built in humidistat and a fart detector. they do tend to get confused when presented with a "wet fart" scenario.
