Prob been asked before a few hundred times but was wondering what the general feeling regarding these are if they work or not. Have thought of getting one but mabe better the devil you know knife, hack saw & side cutters.
Thanks.

Pile of !!!!! , even brought a pack of spare blades with it , TRIED to use it once and then gave the lot to some other old boy looking to buy one at the wholesalers the next time i went in !
Near on 50 or so quid latter , Lesson learned !

I've used mine a few times on the smaller sizes of swa. Works well for me although, with a plastic body and the blade holder being sprung, it feels a bit fragile for the job it's doing. You just need to take it easy and not wind it up too tight.

Thanks chaps ! I have also used A knife, deep socket slid under SWA and cable tie or tape then hacksaw till your hearts content !

Personally I think they are brilliant. They aren't quicker than a hacksaw but give a cleaner cut if used properly. Used mine yesterday, was working in a tight corner that a hacksaw would never of got in so whipped the blade runner on and it cut it perfectly without any hassle. If you tighten it too much then it will knacker the armoured

I swear by mine! To cut I use a hacksaw, or grinder if I'm feeling especially lazy, and to strip or terminate I use my bladerunner. I find it so much easier to terminate after using it as it scores so straight.

I found mine handy for small SWA, especially if space restricted. Not quicker than a sharp hacksaw but does a reasonable job if you take it easy. Feels very flimsy but I have not broken it yet despite a couple of drops onto concrete.
