Late to the fray here sorry.
For anyone reading this the height support is as important as the laser level.
I tried using a basic Bosch one (son bought it) when I had to put up a curtain rail. I needed a line about 15cm lower than the ceiling above the (long) window reveal.
Eventually abandoned the idea as I simply couldn't find an easy way to get it high enough even with a fairly tall tripod. Mind you it was a basic single line one, but now that I've seen this I'm tempted to get a multi line one.
There was no way I could risk attaching it to a painted plaster wall, just something to be aware of if you need high up horizontals.

I recently had to get a new laser and tripod, very pleased with these for the price.
