If you have a lighting transformer with primary and secondary leads for MR16 downlights, can you use WAGO push connectors to link the primary side to the mains lighting circuit? What are the recommendations for connecting lighting transformers to the mains if the are supplied with pre-terminated leads?
 
So I presume that a junction box is required under the 17th Ed Regs? No more using screw type connection choc-blocks to link to the lighting circuit?
 
use screws if you want but loads using this kind of suff... what do you think of the 6in 1 cutters on the same page
 
NWS cutters are quite good had a set for years until they were nicked use barco now , as for the terminal block all terminal block has to be enclosed not just wired in and pushed into the ceilings but any joints in cables that are not clipped ie cables for down lighters etc have to have the cables clamped to prevent the wires being pulled out
 
is gthe clamps in the wago boxes good enough? the rubber bits
