Who likes Christmas? And who doesn't? And why?

I have hated Christmas for the last few years, mainly because my first wife left me one Christmas day. Which was nice of her. However, I'm starting to come around a bit, after all I am remarried and have a small son to enjoy it with. Just wish I had more money to have a nicer time.

I,m half and half as there is just me and the wife and we don,t get any visitors so there is nobody to have a laugh with, however we are going to see the grandkids christmas eve so that will be nice, first time in a few years so looking forward to it.

I think Tony has had enough of me, especially as the police woke him up again yesterday looking for me with regards to an incident that happened when I was visiting him,and no I didn't start it I was just woken up by all the noise. lol

You have to love xmas if you have small kids. Just the look on their face when they open the presents... its just great!!

Used to always have time off for Xmas spend time with family and chill out but working all over Xmas this year and been working 12 x 7 nights recently so doesn't feel like Xmas.

I was at a farm near malton a few years back, and on completion of the job the farmer offered to shoot a turkey there and then for me. I woulda happily obliged, but seen as the christmas food had already been arranged, i regretably declined the offer.....and thus, the turkey survived for yet another day.

I love everything about Christmas except the daft buggers who stockpile food, stand blocking the supermarket aisles chatting and mad drivers who haven't a minute to live. I love the lights, music and general happy feeling it brings.

My Nan died on christmas day about 25 years ago which was devestating, we have got over that now of course, I actually like christmas because it is the only time of the year the whole building trade actually shut down for a week or 2 and I actually get a break and have a beer, always think of my nan bless her but really like the break.

I am looking forward to seeing my son's reaction to the trampoline we've bought for him. He loves bouncing on the settee so I hope he likes the trampoline better - that sofa cost me a fortune!

pig or not, you're right. worst is those women that bring their screaming brats in double buggies and expect everyone to get out of the way when they block a complete aisle gobbing off to likewise imbeciles.
