Ground Mount & FIT rate

Hi

Does a ground mount system come under the 'new build' or 'retrofit' classification for a PV installation? Am I right in thinking it would be retrofit as VAT is paid on the system?

I believe it would depend on whether you are doing it as part of a new-build or putting it alongside an existing property.
