HI Guys

After a a bit of advice for 'future proofing' myself, i am wondering how my Qualifications are viewed in the industry for JIB and the new works supervisor regs in Jan.

Currently i have.

HNC Electrical/Electronic Engineering
C & G 2360 part 2
NVQ 3 Engineering Maintenance

Will soon be updating 16th ed cert to 17th and doing 2391

The NVQ 3 although not in installation had a lot of electrical stuff in it i am wondering if it is recognised or if not can i use any relevant units i have already done and top it up to a NVQ 3 in Electrical Installation?

Hope all this makes sense?

Darren

I think you will have to contact the JIB for confirmation that they will accept your 2360 without the NVQ3.
As for the qualified supervisor, I believe there is no requirement for a level 3 qualification, if you are already one before the new requirements come into force.
