Hi folks,

My KT61 test meter does not appear to be working on it's RCD test function. I've tried it out on a few new 30mA RCD's and it doesn't trip them, even on the 5x setting!

Any ideas on the cheapest way to get it tested and/or repaired?

The tester was not sending any trip current out - repaired now and calibrated by Kewtech support for only £60 + VAT. Very good service and much better than these cowboy internet companies offering repairs and calibration for not less than £95 plus VAT plus parts etc etc.....

Lets start at the beginning here, cos this is something that gets me at least once a week!

Are you sure your tester is set to 30mA, not 10mA? And if it is on 30mA, is the RCD you're testing isn't 100ma?

EDIT: I'm really not reading well this morning. Glad you got it sorted.
