Ps I also bought it off forum member so would gladly sell on here, I've just txt fellow workers aswell , so don't think it will hang around . first to pay first served.

you still want your own mft for homers.

Aye need the cash to move family over... Either that or sell the car , which I won't .. Could ask mom but ow her a fortune..

sick of hanging around waiting for 20 hrs a week and people saying house, flats rewire happening soon . Doing family work for no gain. Good by ni elo Scotland .

OK i will have a think about it and check my money situation in the morning...... im in the same boat mate waiting on little jobs that never happen and earning sod all, been trying to get employment on the cards for a while now but its hard as so many of us in the same boat applying for jobs

Know the feeling, my boss just started paying me sparks rate of £11.50but he can't give me the hours and I know other sparks on less . I've 2 kids to feed and clothe ..

Priced a job @5.5k for 2 flats and the builder put in price of 3.5k, but he's crafty cause he knows I'm a spark so cheaper electrics but bumped his building work up... I said il match it just to work but they can shove it now..

Dam right.
Ive been on building sites on and off the past 18 months......i can work for 3-4 months earning alright money and then have bugger all for 6 weeks.
Driving me mad and i also have 2 kids and a mortgage wife etc.
Dont really have the confidence to go it alone yet and probably wouldnt earn enough anyway.
Good luck though

Your right work dont just land on your lap...... perhaps i just need to be a bit more confident and take on bigger projects on my own when they come along and step out of my comfort zone from just 1st fixing new builds day in day out.
Relatively new to the trade and only qualified a year back
