Has anybody any experience of using a utilities company other than the DNO to install new electricity supplies to premises as a customer is wanting to get competitive quotes for some new supplies
 
I don't think you can Ung, from my experience the contractors who do this kind of thing will only take instructions from DNO. It might be worth a try though
 
I Googled "new electricity supplies" and came up with a number of hits one being these people Electricity Services | Electric Connections | Crown Utilities who from their site appear to be able to do it not looked at any of the others yet but I have seen this companies vehicles about which is what prompted the question
