here goes again , the top light was wired but the wires kept coming out as the terminal screws were knackered,
now i’m really stuck
cause i can’t wire it back up ,
this switch controls bathroom and top landing light and the downstairs has a 2 gang plus 1 2 way switch
i’m truly knackered

wherer in lancs. are you? i can then give a quote.

i make that about 64 miles from me. due to the time and travel costs, i could not attend for less than £120. this would include up to an hour on site. any materials suppled would be at cost (e.g. new switches). sure there are on or 2 members closer, but if no offers, that's my quote.

I'd take him up on the offer. You're getting nowhere and you really do need to get your lights working. You can also be sure it is done safely this way.
