Hello,

There used to be an outside light connected to a socket in my kids bedroom via a plug. The socket is actually placed underneath a radiator so not the greatest location for starters. I've bought a new light and was thinking of the best way of connecting it. Shall I change the socket to a flex connected FCU ?

Go easy on me !

Dave

Sorry. You mean do that instead of having a flex going into the FCU ? Currently the outdoor cable is coming in via a hole beneath the socket but I will try and possibly drill a new one.
