Any reason why you can't put two PIR lights in series in close proximity?

Need to put 2 porch lights in each with a PIR. I wont come across any probs will I?

You don't really mean in series more like in parallel. If you run a 4 core between them then if 1 detects movement both come on! You need a fiting that allows this though - most do.

Do you have a shed? This is a good place to do experimentation.

Just a few questions

1/ What do you mean by placing them in series. Would that be lights in series or PIR sensors in series?
2/ Do you want the lights to operate together or separately?
3/ Are you planning to use the PIRs as switches as opposed to manually operated ones?

Simple porch lights. One either side of porch. Two entrances. Don't need to operate at the same time.
