Hi,

I have a PIR floodlight to the front of my house, is it possible to wire a separate floodlight (without a PIR) to the front floodlight with the PIR so when the front one comes on the side light comes on at the same time, or would I have to have a sepatate PIR light wired in?

Thanks

should be no problem as long as the PIR on the front fitting can take the extra load.

You can link lights to run off one PIR. You need to check with the manufacturers instructions as to maximum demand placed. i.e. up to 500w etc.

So I would just wire the new flood light up like for like wire wise? red with red etc.(providing it will take the load.)

Thanks

in the sensor connections you'll have your incoming cable going to a 4 way connector block. At this block you'll have your incoming brown, G/Y and blue. The last block termination is from the PIR and is the switch load termination. Double up at the G/Y and Blue and terminate your new light at the last block. Load permiting they should both switch at the same time! may i suggest you buy some of the low wattage energy efficient bulbs to make sure you don't over load the sensor.

you could also use the "thanks" buttons.
